Freelance Clinical Research Associate (CRA) | Spain | 2 Opportunities
Join IQVIA Biotech as an experienced Freelance CRA supporting Phase III clinical trials in Spain. We are currently recruiting for two freelance CRA assignments, each at approximately 0.5 FTE (18 hours/week).
The assignments involve hands-on site monitoring activities, with one opportunity particularly suited to a CRA based in Madrid or the surrounding area.
Key Details
- Location: Spain
- Preferred location for one assignment: Madrid / Madrid area
- Openings: 2 Freelance CRA positions
- FTE: Approximately 0.5 FTE per assignment (18 hours/week)
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: Approximately 6 months
- Travel: Regular site travel required within Spain
Current Assignments
Assignment 1 – Phase III Allergy
- Phase III clinical studies in allergic rhinoconjunctivitis
- Primary focus on Interim Monitoring Visits (IMVs)
- Sites located across Spain, including the Madrid area
- We are particularly interested in hearing from CRAs based in or around Madrid
Assignment 2 – Phase III Oncology / Breast Cancer
- Phase III Breast Cancer study
- Sites located in Girona, Cáceres and Jaén
- Requires flexibility for travel across Spain
- Hands-on Oncology experience would be an advantage
Responsibilities
- Perform Interim Monitoring Visits (IMVs) and other required site monitoring activities
- Ensure protocol adherence and ICH-GCP compliance
- Review source documentation and study data
- Support investigators and site personnel
- Identify and follow up on site issues and action plans
- Work closely with project and study teams to ensure high-quality study delivery
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of independent CRA monitoring experience
- Previous Phase III clinical trial experience
- Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and clinical trial processes
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned sites
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Fluent Spanish and English
- Willingness and ability to travel to assigned sites within Spain
