Job Summary
The Manager Software QA supports the Affordability team within IQVIA’s Patient Access & Support Services (PASS) group. This role contributes to the quality and reliability of software solutions that support claims processing, auditing systems, and lifecycle programs across global QA business units. The position emphasizes strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Job Overview
Lead the Quality Assurance function for PASS technology solutions, ensuring delivery of high-quality, compliant, and scalable applications supporting patient support programs. Responsible for QA strategy, test execution, automation adoption, release quality, and team leadership across functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyzes business and functional requirements for completeness; derives valid test cases.
- Carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet minimum organization standards and end-user requirements.
- Defines master test plans to document overall testing strategy for a project.
- Executes test scripts to test software, documenting validation of test scenarios, defects, and resolution.
- Analyzes test results; reviews test plans and supporting execution documentation as required.
- Provides risk assessment throughout test cycles and create lessons learned summary upon completion of project.
- Reads, analyzes, and interprets project requirement and technical design documents.
- Writes test plans for application functionality and software systems using a prescribed style and format.
- Effectively presents information in both written and verbal form to management, customers (internal only), or other technical personnel.
- Drive defect management, root cause analysis, and quality metrics reporting
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and Business SMEs to validate requirements and acceptance criteria
- undefinedQualificationsBachelor's Degree Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience8 to 12+ years of overall QA experience, 2 to 5+ years leading QA teamsExperience managing distributed teamsExperience working directly with clients and business stakeholdersProven experience managing enterprise application testing in an Agile environment.Healthcare, Life Sciences, or Patient Services domain experience preferred.ISTQB, Agile, or Scrum certifications are advantageous.Good experience in Manual Testing, Automation Testing, Data base testing, API Testing documentation and reviewsExperience on Test Automation Frameworks (Selenium, Playwright or equivalent)Should have experience in preparing testcases, test result documentation and test reportKnowledge on the tools/methodologies and automation frameworksTools familiarity Jira, Confluence, GIT, Spira, TestRail etc.Good experience in Selenium Python, SQL Server and good to have API testingShould have flexibility to work with continuous changes and adaptableExperience in Agile methodology.
