Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the MedTech & Consumer Health FP&A function. In this role, the individual will partner closely with the Finance Head to drive budgeting, forecasting, costing, and financial analysis activities across a mid-sized market or regional function.

The successful candidate will serve as a trusted business partner, providing financial leadership, strategic insights, and subject matter expertise to support decision-making and business performance. They will be responsible for long-range planning, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency, and ensuring sound financial and accounting practices are embedded across the organization.

This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence the financial strategy and performance of the MedTech & Consumer Health business.

Essential Functions
• Understands business partner/client markets and translates strategy into proactive plans to enable successful achievement of business results.
• Ensures that the recording, measurement and reporting of all financial transactions adhere to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), internal IQVIA corporate policies and procedures, government regulations and local business requirements.
• Develops specific business metrics that support timely and actionable information flow for daily operational and long-term strategic planning purposes.
• Directs all aspects of planning and estimation processes related to annual budgeting and strategic plans as well as monthly forecasts.
• May develop pricing strategies, policies and analysis.

• Support finance head in the preparation for monthly business review, Operating reviews, Functional reviews, president council reviews and any other ad-hoc reviews.
• Involved in M&A due diligence and building out business cases.
• Provides monthly financial reporting to constituencies.
• Serves as key focal point between the head of the business/function supported and head of finance or next line management to ensure the business/function is synchronized with the regional plan.
• Ensures achievement of business financial targets by monitoring spending, providing insight, and early warning.
• Identifies and monitors areas of risk and/or opportunity and their financial impact on the business.
• Reviews and analyzes new business initiatives and investments to ensure that they conform with local and IQVIA strategic vision and achieve or exceed minimum return on investment requirements.
• Ownership of management and support function P&L HR, Finance, Commercial Ops.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree Graduate degree or equivalent preferred - in Finance, Accounting or Financial Management Req
• Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in business analysis, accounting and finance. Req
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Knowledge of financial systems such as SAP, People Soft and Hyperion would be ideal.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong leadership and focus.
• Proven record of results working with senior management.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to translate business issues into financial requirements.
• Technical proficiency with financial application software is essential.
• High level of integrity and self-confidence.
• CPA - Certified Public Accountant CPA or other professional financial certification Req

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is €41,400.00 - €70,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
