Job Overview

Provides high-quality, on-time consulting support to client projects within the MedTech sector, including medical devices and diagnostics. Assignments range from conducting primary market research, including quantitative and qualitative analysis, to developing strategic recommendations and client deliverables. The Consultant will work closely with cross-functional and global teams, contribute to client-facing presentations, and support the development of actionable insights that help clients make informed business decisions.

This is a 100% remote role with travel limited to an annual team meeting and occasional business needs.

Essential Functions

• Assists with the review and analysis of client business questions, market challenges, and research objectives to support the development of client solutions.
• Conducts primary market research and quantitative analyses to identify key findings, trends, and strategic implications for MedTech clients.
• Supports survey design, data analysis, interpretation of research findings, and synthesis of actionable insights.
• Develops clear, compelling client presentations and reports using data-driven storytelling techniques.
• Creates and delivers client-ready project deliverables utilizing established consulting frameworks and methodologies.
• Collaborates effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple geographies and functions.
• Demonstrates sound business judgment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to escalate issues appropriately when needed.
• Builds expertise in MedTech markets, including medical devices and diagnostics, through project delivery and continuous learning.
• May lead portions of projects or workstreams under the guidance of Senior Consultants, Engagement Managers, or Principals.
• Contributes to a culture of curiosity, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing across the team.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3-5 years of related experience required.
• Experience in consulting, primary market research, MedTech, medical devices, diagnostics, or a related healthcare industry.
• Demonstrated experience conducting primary market research and quantitative analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into business recommendations.
• Experience developing client-facing reports and presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools used for quantitative research.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals.
• Knowledge and understanding of the fundamental processes of business, their interaction, and the impact of external and internal influences on decision making, growth, and decline.
• Knowledge of consulting methods, tools, and techniques.
• Knowledge of current events and developments within the industry and across major competitors.
• Knowledge and understanding of the marketplace.
• Knowledge of professional/trade associations, key people, and companies.
• Effective time management and project prioritization skills.

Preferred

• Strong preference for candidates with a combination of MedTech industry experience and primary market research experience.
• Experience supporting consulting engagements for MedTech clients.
• Working knowledge of medical device and/or diagnostics markets.
• Experience working with stakeholders across international regions and time zones.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and a strong desire to continuously learn, ask insightful questions, and develop expertise across new topics and business challenges.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $71,200.00 - $178,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
