
Job Overview
Provide financial and operational support for project financial management, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and month-end close activities. Assist in the execution of financial processes, preparation of management and corporate reports, and analysis of business performance while ensuring compliance with company policies and financial controls.
Essential Functions
Project Financial Management
• Support project setup and maintenance within financial systems.
• Monitor billing, collections, revenue recognition, and key project financial metrics, including Unbilled and Unearned Revenue.
• Assist in analyzing and resolving project-related financial discrepancies.
Financial Planning & Analysis
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for assigned business units.
• Prepare financial reports and analyze variances between actual results, budget, and forecast.
• Monitor key financial indicators and provide analytical support to business stakeholders.
Financial Close & Accounting Support
• Participate in month-end and quarter-end closing activities.
• Prepare journal entries, process vendor invoices, and support account reconciliations.
• Assist with audit requests and ensure compliance with financial policies and controls.
Reporting & Process Improvement
• Maintain financial reports, databases, and planning tools.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
• Support process improvement and reporting automation initiatives.
Qualifications
• Advanced student or recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, project finance, controlling, financial planning, or a similar role preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing business priorities.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and business stakeholders.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
