Junior Machine Learning Engineer (NLP / Generative AI)

About the Role

We are looking for an early-career Machine Learning Engineer to join our AI team and contribute to the development of Machine Learning, NLP, and Generative AI solutions for healthcare and life sciences applications. The role is designed for candidates who have strong ML foundations, are passionate about AI, and are eager to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

You will work alongside experienced Machine Learning Engineers and Researchers, helping to develop, test, and improve AI solutions while gaining exposure to real-world datasets, modern ML techniques, and production-oriented AI systems.

Essential Requirements

Education

We will only consider candidates with a relevant quantitative educational background.

Applicants must have completed, or be in the final stages of completing, a Master's degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Bioinformatics, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related quantitative discipline.

Candidates who have not yet completed a Bachelor's degree will not be considered.

Availability

This is a full-time position. Candidates must be available to work full-time.

Machine Learning Fundamentals

Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of core Machine Learning concepts, including:

  • Train, validation, and test datasets
  • Cross-validation
  • Overfitting and underfitting
  • Model evaluation
  • Classification and regression
  • Feature engineering
  • Hyperparameter tuning
  • Basic statistical reasoning

Programming

  • Python programming experience
  • Experience working with datasets and implementing machine learning solutions

Preferred Qualifications

We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate genuine interest in NLP and Generative AI through:

  • Research projects

  • Open-source contributions
  • Personal projects
  • Relevant internships or work experience

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is 91 000,00 zł - 168 900,00 zł. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
